You know the old phrase \"Back by public demand\"? Well, when it comes to the ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW that's exactly what's happened! It seems that you<\/u> the attendees of the travel shows at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse since 2014 want to see the return of these iconic shows.<\/p>\n

This being the case, we\u2019re delighted to announce that the weekend of 13-14 June 2026 will see the relaunch of the recharged, revamped ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW & CAMPERVAN SHOW (AOS).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Featuring every form of adventure travel from bicycles to adventure bikes, cars with roof tents to micro campers, 4x4s and demountables, campervans & motorhomes (both 2 and 4-wheel-drive), caravans and adventure trailers, right through to monster ex-military 8x8 expedition trucks \u2026 or simply the family runaround and a ground tent! As we've always said, \"everybody and everything is welcome\".<\/p>\n

Revamped? Comprising a brand new layout never seen before, we'll see the return of well-established favourites such as the Seminars (free-to-attend travel talks), display vehicles in the Field of Dreams\u2122, Club Display Stands and a host of trade stands \u2013 many exclusive to AOS \u2013 plus exciting new attractions still to be announced. At this point we\u2019re not saying exactly what these are, as other festivals tend to openly and unashamedly steal our ideas (e.g. many vanlife\/camper-type events have introduced Adventure Travel zones, it's a pity they can\u2019t come up with their own thoughts and concepts!), rest assured our attractions will be entertaining and relevant to overland travel. At AOS we don\u2019t copy, we innovate!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

To this end, please be aware that although there will be elements of vanlife, camperlife and bushcraft within the event,\u00a0you should know that AOS is not just another vanlife festival - in other words a disguised a mini-music festival where the emphasis is an endless procession of mediocre musicians performing from dawn to dusk.<\/p>\n

Sandwiched between the overland shows, Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse was also the venue where the AOS team held the inaugural \"Vanlife Festival\" July 2022.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Instead, our show is all about \u2018adventure travel\u2019 whether your transport has 2 or 8 wheels!<\/strong><\/p>\n

So whether you\u2019re a total novice when it comes to overland travel, or a seasoned off-roader\/vanlifer who has travelled the world, AOS will prove invaluable knowledge about excursions, tours, expeditions and adventurous travel both in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n

We are here to help you through those scary foreign borders, visas and documentation, the equipment and self-recovery gear to take when crossing a desert (or importantly \u2013 all the unnecessary kit not<\/u> to take as it\u2019ll only weigh down your vehicle), info on which ferry crossings are the best when the land meets the sea, plus all the other aspects of a successful adventure holiday.<\/p>\n

Lastly \u2026 cost! When booking a camping slot at the ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW & CAMPERVAN SHOW, please be aware that we\u2019ve kept fees to a minimum. As stated previously, you\u2019ll be paying for advice and knowledge linked directly to overland travel, not musical\/circus entertainment.<\/p>\n

Quality bands in the 'Severn Cider Beer Tent'<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Obviously, as in previous years there will be great bands in the Severn Cider Beer Tent Friday, Saturday and nights for those lucky enough to stay over until Monday, alongside quality value-for-money caterers (something we pride ourselves in), but if you just want to chill out with friends around the campfire with your BBQ, then that\u2019s fine too. The result is that our camping fees are almost certainly the lowest around, something we\u2019re equally proud of.<\/p>\n

We even had a wedding at the last ever ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW `24!!! Steph & Neil of Fourby 4x4, traders that have been attended every one of our shows at the racecourse, decided that after a 20+ year engagement to actually tie the knot on stage in our Beer Tent. Needless to say the place was packed to witness their special day, something that we never thought would never ever happen! Bless!!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

To sum up, cast your mind back to what everybody including ourselves thought would be the \u201clast ever the ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW\u201d in 2024 (although clearly it wasn\u2019t!). Without question, that was a special weekend! Folk from all the communities \u2013 bikes, 4x4s, campers, motorhomes, expedition trucks \u2013 came together to give us and the event a wonderful send off. Believe me, we're sooooo incredibly grateful to all those who rallied around, it was heart-warming. And now, it\u2019s directly because of your support that this event is returning.<\/p>\n

Retirement??? Not a chance! We intend to make our 'comeback' even more memorable, for YOU, the \u2018overland community\u2019 \u2026 you\u2019re amazing!!!<\/p>\n
