Totally Twosome!

Linked very closely to the ethos of the event, two new companies will be using the ‘Spring’ edition of the joint Adventure Overland Show + International Campervan Show at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse [27-28 April 2019] as a springboard to launch their wares …

Gear & Go – “quality gear for overlanding and camping” ( www.gearandgo.online ) and LeBlanc Overlanding “products designed to enhance your overland travel experience” ( www.facebook.com/LeBlancOverlanding )

Also, two new books are being launched within the Travel Author’s Zone:–

Overlanding with a Family by Graham Naismith. “Frustrated with commuting and the 9-5 regime, in 2008 Graham, his wife and 3 young daughters decided to buy a 2001 Toyota Landcruiser Amazon 4.2L TDA and drive 30,000 miles overland from the UK to and around Australia via China. Ten years on he’s written a book!”

and

Hellbent for Paradise by Zoë Cano. An avid biker who has written several books about her worldwide travels, the new publication is the tale of Zoë’s 5,000 kilometre road trip odyssey roaming the jaw-dropping natural wonders of Aotearoa in New Zealand on a mission to find her own paradise.

Plus two new attractions will also be launched at the event – The International Campervan Show Marquee featuring jam sessions around the fire-pit Friday & Saturday evenings so bring your musical instruments and join in (this in addition to the popular ‘extended’ Severn Cider beer tent which will be rocking as usual with two great bands – PLUS excellent quality hot food up until midnight!!!) and the Adventure Bike Zone. This now has 363 bikers booked in with more to come, so accompanied by associated motorcycle traders they will form a memorable two-wheel display … SORRY, nearly forgot to include James Warren’s expedition prepared 3-wheeled Tuk Tuk – clearly there is a vehicle out there for everyone!

Two new seminar rooms have been introduced to cope with the 27 free-to-attend talks featured this time around, the most there have ever been at our shows (more than the biggest, most prestigious travel shows in the UK … not to mention the most expensive!!!) covering navigation, medical, security whilst on the road, bushcraft & survival, vehicle preparation and of course the exploits of the speakers themselves who have travelled the globe in search of adventure.

From 2 wheels to 8 (a M.A.N. truck in case you’re wondering), this Spring event is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet!
